During the Ottoman period, women of the palace used jewelry, which was the symbol of nobility, power, splendor and show, as an accessory. The jewelry of the palace women generally consisted of valuable accessories such as hair ties, necklaces, earrings, bracelet brooches, pins and belts.

With the conquest of Istanbul by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, the use of jewelry in the palace became popular. It became widespread during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. The product, inspired by a jewelry box from the period, was designed and interpreted using 24 carat gold and produced in a limited number.
